Our Mission & Story
We started with a simple, pressing question: why should the geographical boundary of a rural village dictate a person’s quality of life? The Balliawala Pariwar Foundation was built to bridge this divide. Our mission is to work directly alongside the communities of eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, co-creating sustainable systems for high-quality education, primary healthcare, and local livelihood development.
Our journey began in the villages of Ballia. We saw kids eager to learn but sitting in classrooms with no teachers, elders walking miles for basic medicine, and youth leaving their families behind for low-wage labor in distant cities. We realized that sporadic donation drives weren't enough. What was needed was a family—a "Pariwar"—that commits for the long haul.
We do not believe in top-down charity; instead, we partner with villagers to build self-reliant communities. Today, we operate across multiple blocks, running Mohalla Coaching centers for digital literacy, hosting mobile medical camps, and implementing the Contribution Equity System (CES) to mobilize local change-makers. We measure our success not in numbers alone, but in the self-reliance and confidence of the communities we walk with.
Our Vision
We envision a future where the rural-urban divide disappears. Our goal is a thriving rural India where local schools provide excellent learning, community health clinics are equipped and accessible, and sustainable economic opportunities exist in every block. We see villages that are not just surviving, but leading the way in environmental, social, and economic progress, grounded in dignity, mutual respect, and shared growth.
